I don't need any at the moment, just thought I find out for future projects. I am looking for something around 3/4" thick, around 5" by 5" in size or anything bigger is fine.

You can get any plastic at Laird Plastics on Drew rd in Mississauga, Check the yellow pages for # and address. They are open to the public and you can get some scap pcs for next to nothing. I've boughtfrom them over the years fro variuos uses. plexiglass, plastic tubes, mirrored plastics and lexan or polycarbonate.

If you can just ask for the store and they will help you out. Much cheaper than Home depot and you can get sheets as big as 4' x 8'

i have found a great place in scarbourough it is call ontario plastic fabricators and they have any thing in plastic....they actually built the set for magneto's plastic prison cell in X-Men and X2...if u make a mould they can vaccum form it for u as well

I was looking for another way to build a more efficient transmission with bearings. I only have some basic tools, thought plastic would be the easiest to make this out of.
