Just a few question about lipo's. I want to make quick change packs with 2 lipos in series. Can I salder (1) + and (1) - wire together and than the other + and - wire to a deans connector? Would the voltage stay the same? Can I charge them this way since I would want to charge them balanced. Not sure how to charge them that way if they are saldered together.

Re: Lipo wiring.

If you solder the batteries together the voltage will be the sum of the two battery voltages.

Charging? Hmmm?

Re: Lipo wiring.

The way you are talking is changing two 1s pack to a 2s pack. 2S1P

- to + to- to + isa 2s pack ( would need a balance lead black to outside - center wire to -+ contact and red to the + ) double the voltage with same capacity.

-to- + to + will keep the same voltage and increase capacity of the battery.

1S2P.
