Couldn't agree more Doug. I loved my DA100L. Actually had 2 of them over the course of 4 years and both ran flawless and smoooooth. Definitely lacking in power and overpriced compared to the new breed today, but man that was a good motor. Right up there with my DA150... sweet, sweet motors! I probably had 25Gal through each 100L and 20Gal through my (2) 150's and not a hick-up.

Well hair-doo, then load the hot-rod.

Wooooo... that's quite the endorsement Dale. I remember many people calling my first 5Gal of running the GP's as hype. Seems like many, many people are saying the same as me about the 61 and 123 I'm betting Jack wishes he didn't paint himself into a corner on this one, LOL.

Until something better comes out (which there will be, I'm sure), I'll only buy GP in the 120 and 60cc class also. As proof, I've sold a few airframes and kept my motors - never done that before.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Damn, the page rolled over. I only posted so you could see today's signature.

As for GP's
The 123 is on the top of my shelf in that class.
The 176, ran well. But, I have since used others that I place higher in my own opinion.
The 61, I don't fly that size much any more. And have several here on the shelf that deserve to fly before buying a GP61.

I am the proud owner of a Brisson 4.2, that might fly in the spring on a Lanier Stinger though.
