Maidened an old kaos 40 today!!
I finally got the old bird in the air today and what a surprize it was. This thing flew great, it flies like it is on rails. Max told me it was one of his favorite planes and I can see why. Loops, roles, knife edge, they all went well, and I had a blast. Knees were shaking at first, but after a couple of minutes I started to feel good and the rest is all good.

google "original bridi airplane kits" there is a place in the states that is making all of the old bridi kits(kaos, super kaos, etc) i will be ordering a few this fall.... john

right on.. some of those old designs were really good and can't be beat.
I have plans for an old pattern plane I had built once before and really enjoyed.. least up until I found a nest in the trees.. lol.. called a mongoose.... flies like on rails too.Gonna build one again me thinks.. happy flyin and many returns with the Kaos

Super Kaos, Dirty Birdi, Curare, Tippo. Phoenix, Saturn, Mach 1, Super Blue Angle,....loved them all. Really need to build another old school plane.

i had a dirty bridy glass fuse it was absoloutely magnificent, piped hp 60 gold cup pefectly straight smoke trails in loops wow. the ultra sport is almost a modern kaos. bridi stuff was top knotch designed

Thanks for all the comments guys. The plane has a os.46 la on it right now, but I have an os .46 ax on my trainer that I think I'll put in it if I can get it to fit. Should give a little more power. Thanks again and I hope you all have a great summer at the field.
