Brodie, I'll always remember your returning to dry land, and the way you explained how the ducks were lookin' at that plane as it was twitchin' in the drink!

I've had my share of misadventures too, the worst one was getting a Giant Super Sportster out of the top of a Maple, and I made a good chunk of my living pruning and removing trees! Have to confuse I've been involved with three tree boo-boos, and theres only 20 trees in my part of the world.... they're funny now, not so much at the time!

That guy has failing eye sight, but he makes up for it with good looks! And the occasional burst of enthusiasm, followed by extreme lows. I believe they have medication for that, don't they?

Have a great time at Bawlf!

So Dale... Why a Graupner radio? Good news is you'll get to burn the pumpkin shirt, LOL. But seems like you've been victim to lots of Hype lately (3W, GP, ES pipes, Graupner)... I can't keep up, LOL

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Boy, I'm having fun! This plane I picked up today is wired up with a Electro Dynamics light system Including the dash). And a full FPV system minus the camera and Tx.

Guy did a great job of bundling the wires, not so great on labeling... It has a SmartFly Optikill that's all un-plugged, and the most worrisome is the aileron servos are plugged into a common block, but there aren't any matchboxes for them.

Tomorrow I'll pull the cowl check it over and run the engine. At least I won't be able to try and fly it until my "Tech Support" gets home Monday!

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Brent do you have enough runway to fly a 38% plane at your place or do you need to go off the farm? (BTW you are sooooo hooked! LOL)
