Anyone know where to get the door type hinges, the one's on the 40% Pilot Yak. their grey in color.
They are put together with one long rod witch is .070 dia. (that's a bit bigger than 1/16") I'd like to get 5 of them.
The main thing I'm after is the hole size for the music wire to go through.

I ended up ordering some from Pilot RC.

You can do what I did. First, I got some Klett hinges the size I needed, (small, med , or large) I then took them apart, and set them on a flat surface. I lined up 5 hinges in pieces, and then inserted a piece of piano wire through them . Now, you will have a piano hinge made of plastic to your won size. I did this with the last three 1/4 scale cubs that I have had, and I used them on the hinge on the cowl at the split. I have never had a failure in the hinge. I have added two pictures of the wowl on my cub, Hope this iwill help. You can mount the hinges with small screws, in wood, slot and pin, or on aluminum as I did with small rivets............. Al
