hey guys
i am starting to get really serious about this glider thing .
was wondering if there are any other shops in canada that sell decent gliders other than icare
would like a nice 3m powerd glider and a 3 m pure glider

May the lift be with you pc17.
As far as I know ICARE is the only source for quality gliders in that size range.
Great Hobbies and Hobby Wholesale carry a couple of the larger balsa scale Seagull models.
Armsoar out of Richmond BC offers a selection of DLGs.
Other than that it's south of the border or the UK. You could try the Calgary soaring club or else I believe Simon Thompson in Edmonton was selling some of his new unbuilt/new used equipment.

Drop me an email and I'll give you some info on were we get most of our sailplanes from.

By the way, do you have a place to fly?
We (the Edmonton Area Thermal Soarers / EATS) are still looking for a permanent flying site suitable for just sailplanes, we need around 10 acres. But up until now we have not found anywhere. We have maybe 10 or 12 people showing interest in the club, maybe more.

i have a few places that i fly right now ,but would join a edmonton glider club if they got a flying site .
been flying powerd planes for 15 years and been playing with gliders for about 5
i am selling most of my powerd stuff to buy a few more gliders
