I understand this is a new product, and I am wondering if anybody has used this product, and what your thoughts (good/bad) on it? Thanks.

There was a pretty good review on sig aerokote in the January issue of Fly RC magazine. It was a good article, and The author says that it is an excellent covering.

The pictures showed the author covering a wheel pant, and I have to say I have never seen covering sooooo smooth over large compound curves.

It's still monokote all the way for me...

I saw that article too, Brandon.

Wasn't there some sort of mention that the reviewer was more or less a professional when it comes to covering? I hope some day to be able to emulate his covering, but I doubt I will live so long.

You're right Dave, the author is a professional at covering.

It would be awesome to be able to cover an airplane that nicely, but I haven't honed my skills enough yet. Maybe when I'm 80-85...

A professional at covering? Where do you get a job like that? I suppose you could get weary of anything, but covering model airplanes sounds like a pretty good gig, compared to - say - outdoor construction work in Alberta in February.....Where's the coverning union; I want to apprentice.

Planes, Pedals, and Motorcycles! (In that order!)

I stopped being politically correct when I found out that some people were offended by it.
