Nope... No hardware for me today... Before you read this next part I am not complaining, I am just stating facts of what happened. I had a blast and would do this again and again!!

My day started out good. Nice drive and my coffee was good

After arriving at the track I realized I forgot my Power Inverter for my charger so I couldn't plug my charger in. At the moment I can only use AC for my charger. I waited until my friend from Team Hybrid came so I could steal some power from his generator. Got my stuff all setup and realized I forgot most of my batteries. My friend came so I now have power so I plugged in my charger. Power came up but my charger was pooched! It would not fast charge!!! C'est La Vie... I borrowed a charger from Mike for the day so I was able to race. My first qualifier went pretty good. With a 27 Turn Stock motor I ended up qualifying 4th in my heat. Not too bad considering the motor and this was only my 2nd onroad race. Also for some reason my race clock ended at 4m40s?? I could have had another 2 laps... oh well... there is always the 2nd qualifier.

Another friend of mine said that I needed more horsepower so he was kind enough to lend me a 19T motor. 2nd qualifier starts... OH NO IM GLITCHING!!! The motor was creating too much noise. I tried to continue the race but the car glitched itself into a 2x4 and broke an arm. I got off the drivers stand and I realized my transmitter batteries were getting really low. I changed the batteries and replaced the arm and went back out between runs to try again. Still glitching so I know it was the motor. My friend took the motor and put a different 19T motor in... this one was working a lot better. Unfortunately I got a little close to the side and broke another arm. I didn't have any more spare arms. Once again the RC community rocks, someone gave me an arm so I could continue racing!

Now the main...

I started in 3rd in the B-main. After the first turn I was now in 2nd place. I followed the leader for about 2 laps then I took the lead! I started to pull away from the pack. I got almost a lap up on the rest when my car started to slow down. Within about a min the car had slowed down to a halt. I though for some reason my battery was dumping so I quickly grabbed the car switched batteries and was back out on the track. I was running about 5th at this point. The race ended but I decided to keep running for a little bit. Again about a minute after the race my car started to slow down like it was dumping again. It turns out one of the brushes got hung up and that is what was causing my power loss... oh well...

I still had an absolute blast so don't anyone get me wrong here...

I wouldn't expect anyone to wear a suit to the track. It is way to dirty to wear a suil. I know I wouldn't let Crafty wear one if he wanted to. I wouldn't be doing that load of laundry if he did...LOL
