Hi, I am new

pretty much new to the hobby too.

Owned a few 1/10 R/C on road cars and a 1/14 Scania a year or 2 ago, but kinda lost interest and sold them all.

but now I got some spare time and wanted to jump back into R/C a little more, so recently I acquired a king hauler kit.

It doesn't come with a radio unit, so I am looking for one at the moment.

I know Futaba 4wd Attack control is the best suit for 1/14 trucks, but I wanted to try something new, like the Spektrum radio.

Which Spektrum control do you think it would work best for 1/14 trucks?

Dx4e? Dx5e? Dx6i? Dx7? Dx8? Dx18?

or none?

Put a post up with a review if you do get a Spektrum...would like to know how it goes. I have the Futaba Attack on my Aeromax and it works great.

i have the spektrum dx7,dx6,dx5 for a couple of my builds but the rest of them i use futaba skysport fm stick radio which to me work fantastic.the spektrums to me are the best but are really expensive depending on the channels you get and i had to get ron at pinnacle hobby to set up my trucks with the spektrums because there was something about the end trims or end spot for the sticks had to be adjusted orsomething like that anyway my dx7 i have for my truck zeus and i feel really good about the reliabilty and the fact that it binds onlt to my receiver which is great since i run with a few other guys from time to timewhereas the futaba i am on the same fequency channel as another guy and found that out almost too late when poseidon my green cabover started heading towards a tree head on out of control

i see you are in markham why not stop by pinnacle hobby and see ron and tell him dwayne sent you .he will be able to help with your radio

I already did! Bought a new mfc unit from them
