40% EDGE 540T strip and overhall
hey guys. i got this 40% edge 540 from maddog and want to know if anybody
knows who built it or any history on it. i'll be strippin it and changing a few things...... we'll see how it go's. any help along the way would be great. thanks mike

I was told it was a scratch build copy of a cardon. It had strings on the bottom instead of foam. The w.s is 122"

Lol thanks trev! Nothin like some pressure to get the job done. Not sure on the covering yet....might do scale or maybe the same as my 35%edge so they match. Hey that one still needs to be maiden too.

It depends on the amount of effort you want to put in. Ideally they should be fixed but I personally don't think they will affect flight very much.

If its already stripped, why not fix it for looks. So easy to glue on a piece of balsa and fair it in. Otherwise every time you look at it later, you'll wish you did.

OK i'm going to fix the trailing edge's!!!! where do i get trailing edge his big? also here's pic's of the leading edge of the rudder and how its done. do i need to cut it off and replace it?????i'm going to use durant direct drive.
