I have the Unionville plans. I can see if I can get them scanned and send you the files.

Re: UnionVille Beaver 40.size

Ok....

Forget that, I just pulled out the plans, and for some reason, they dont show the horizontal stab. Must've been totally precut with no reason to show on plans.

Sorry.

Re: UnionVille Beaver 40.size

If it is a once piece stabilizer, then may I make a suggestion?
Get a scale drawing of the plane from a library book or search the internet.
ie:

Then measure the length of your fuselage from your plans and then measure the same on the scale drawing. Then divide one by the other. That would give you a "scale up" ratio. Then measure the length/width of the stab from the scale drawing and multiply by the ratio you calculated, and use that to come up with a correct scale drawing for your application. (you might want to add 10% to improve flight stability)

Alternatively, you can get the scale factor I mentioned above and once you know how wide the .40 size elevator should be, enlarge the tail section of the scale drawing you have (like the picture I attached) on a photocopier until it is the size you need. Then trace it onto a piece of balsa and cut it out.
