Re: 2009 Judging School(s)
A heads up for those in the region, we are planning to have a judging/trimming seminar in the Montreal area as well (no dates discussed yet)...

Re: 2009 Judging School(s)
I think we're thinking spring (March or later), but have to make a group decision on that. If you pick a date soon we won't pick too close to it. Been talking about maybe getting some flying & live judging done on a second day or the afternoon so in that case it probably won't be middle of the winter.

Re: 2009 Judging School(s)
Jim, I can look into a Legion in Barrie if that's a venue you would consider. Dad is a member through his dad. Just let me know and I'll have a look at it.

Re: 2009 Judging School(s)
I'm sure I'm not just speaking for myself when I say that last year's seminar was one of the most enjoyable events of its kind that I have personally attended. Well rounded & thought out program.
Any of the dates around the last two weekends of February to the first two weekends in March suit me just fine. I will be there. As Bryan said, you need any help, just ask! As for the place, the Mississauga venue suited me just fine but if it must be in Barrie then so be it, especially if it will better accomodate and make possible for our Northern friends to be in attendance! The Nats gave these folks a huge amount of experience and we all can use that. If at all possible, would love to see a rep from IMAC join us as they did a few years back. Anyway, with you hosting and organizing it Jim, we have every confidence that it will again be an awsome event, one that is bound to leave us excited and enthused about the coming IMAC season. And again my friend, if there is anything I can do to be of assistance, just let me know. I am pretty well always available and would love to be involved.

Re: 2009 Judging School(s)
Sounds good. I like the March idea - especially if we get lucky enough to have some good weather and could have a chance to crtique some actual flights - theory is nice but the real thing is always better. Of course we would need a venue where we could fly too - Barrie is close to the 400 club so that might be a good option. Otherwise a field trip to Brossard may be in order

Re: 2009 Judging School(s)
Oh Boy! I would like to get to one of these but I am trying to find out when the Amps contest is being held and a couple of other ones down south. I would like to see one in the winter and one in the spring where we could also fly and try out some judging.
Good work Jimmy!

Re: 2009 Judging School(s)
They are posted on the SE Region of the IMAC site. Tony F from the Amps also sent us a confirmation email for Feb 20th weekend (3 day event). One in March in Venice. Jacksonville is later on. Boca Raton not sure yet when it is.

Re: 2009 Judging School(s)
I guess Tony finally put it up. I am planning to make it since it looks like the Port St.Lucie contest is no longer. A 3 Day event would be great!
