Rx/Tx For HPI Savage Flux
Hey,
Just wanted to get an opinion on a decent Rx/Tx set that would be good for the Savage Flux? I am currently using the RF-45 (antenna just broke on me) and I was looking to upgrade to something decent (under $250), rx has to be waterproof as well. Suggestions? |

Re: Rx/Tx For HPI Savage Flux
any time I upgrade I get a flysky gt2 or gt3 they are well priced and have a long range, also very easy to use, around $40 on ebay

Re: Rx/Tx For HPI Savage Flux
hey thanks for the advice, I just bought a DX3R DSM2 with a SR3100 rx for 171 CAN, going to stick with that for now, but in the future I may look at Flysky as I was pretty impressed with what they had as well.

Re: Rx/Tx For HPI Savage Flux
well I got my rx/tx and now need suggestion for a decent rx as the one I got with the tx is damaged (more then just a broken wire as per advertised but it doesn't bother me I got the tx at a great steal). So anyone have any suggestions on a rx? Something that works with Spektrum, been reading alot of American forums and people keep talking about Lemon and Orange surface rx.

Re: Rx/Tx For HPI Savage Flux
I'm not bothered so much about the rx, he described the rx was damaged (wire). I was planning on getting a different rx anyway. Any suggestions for a good rx?

Re: Rx/Tx For HPI Savage Flux
pm me your address and I will send you a spectrum rx, used but will work for you, I have a bin full of receivers that just sit there.

Re: Rx/Tx For HPI Savage Flux
in the future check some of the chop shops like Dollar Hobbyz or jenny's RC for OEM stuff.
