I actually have a GPS on my quad, as well as a telemetry capable radio. If I get too far the radio starts beeping indicating it's loosing signal. If I actually were to loose the signal entirely then the quad would come back to me with the GPS.

I think the only way for me to loose it as it is would be with extreme winds.

King Kong 260 FPV Racing Drone

So I love my Mobius cams, and I just found out I can use them for FPV.. when that equipment arrives I'll be dumping the onboard cam from this thing and using the mobius for the same purpose with its generous 120 degree field of view.

Check out these videos below of the King Kong. I did some fpv with it, had problems with the landing gear, and came up with a dirty terrible solution for the feet that just need to be painted to be disguised enough to be passed off as part of the show.

Review and flight:

My first real attempt at FPV. Fun but scary coming in.

And the landing gear solution. As grotesque as it is, the solution is rather elegant in that the new legs slip through the arms and give way during a hard impact rather than breaking off like the stock feet. Check that out.

Blade 350 QX3 at Haas Lake Park Chasing the Horizon Proboat React 17"

Here I am flying the Blade 350 QX3 with the aluminum prop adapters and some very reliable gemfans that should prevent me from replacing the body again. In one of these I am actually chasing our Horizon Proboat. It's pretty sweet footage even if I do say so myself. I enjoyed how it turned out once I saw the boat chase. All of this was filmed without any safety nets, floats, etc. If this quad hit the water she was going under and that, as they say, would have been that. Glad it turned out alright.

This is an Aerial survey of our favorite campground

And here I am just whipping around with it over the lake and back.

Night Flying with the Blade 350 QX3

I wasn't going to do it, but here's one more set of quad videos. These are evening / night vids. I think these are among my favorites and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Friends that are not into RC don't like the engine noise and want music. Those that are totally into RC, want the music gone so the fans can scream loud and proud. These three are for the latter.

Re: Multirotor Pictures and Videos

Nice videos! This would be the first night time quad video I've seen, we can't night fly here within the city limits. Night flying looks like a blast good thing for GPS.
