Just checked the flyer. They also have the 400W powerbox with compressor at 60.00 off down to 119.00

CT in Vernon only stocks 3.78 L jugs (if you can call them jugs). They said they can't/won't bring in the 9.46 jugs. Maybe I'll have another look in case they changed their minds for winter heaters.

Steve, I'm sure one of your bulk fuel outlets sell kerosene, and their everyday price is likely around the 1.20 per liter mark.....Ron

Ron,

I tried that at a couple of places where our company has some accounts as we buy lots of diesel to run our test stand. (It's amazing how much diesel a 800 hp MTU will burn at full load for 24 hrs ) Thier prices were more than CT kero at the regular price. Seems things are different in Alberta in the land of "oil-o-plenty".

On a positive note, I stopped in at one store today and while they did not have any, they could easily tell me where the stock was. I went to another location on the way home and grabbed 10 jugs @ 14.17 each. (Plus the Fin HST )

Steveo - maybe Kelowna will have some?

Thanks for the tip Wayne.

Re: This might be a bit late for most of you

Ron - Thanks for the tip. I tried that route in the Lower Mainland with negative results. I can give it another try in the Okanagan, but I hay-me-doots.

Paul - Yeah, good plan to try Kelowna and/or Westbank. At the end of the season, I snagged the last two jugs at the Salmon Arm CT (way pricey). I'll check back to see if they bring more in come spring time, but they won't be 14 bucks.
