Could possibly be the motor but I've personally never had one die on me from a crash. Maybe take the motor out and see if the shaft spins easily, you might have seized one of the bearings which is more common than the motor itself dying.

I charged the batterie overnight and now the car is going again! I guess the previous owner just didn't give it a good enough charge, can battery can I replace with the battery the comes with the car? Should I get a better charger as well? Please let me know what battery should I get so I can have 2 battery to play with?

Re: Sprint 2 flux doesnt go fast anymore after crash

I have the 2010 Camero body on my Sprint 2 flux. You will need to get some rear belts for it as it tends to go through them very fast.

Also, if you want to go faster, you could always put in a 2s lipo battery.

I run these batteries in my Sprint 2 Flux, and also in my Redcat Caldera.

Re: Sprint 2 flux doesnt go fast anymore after crash

The Sprint 2 Flux uses a belt drive system instead of dog bones / drive shafts... The front belt is long, and on my car at least it has never broken. The rear belt is short, and again on my car, it has broken 4 times already. Page 30 of your manual shows you how to replace the rear belt. As for the charger, if you update to a lipo battery, you will need a lipo charger.

Also, the castle ESC does not have an on/off switch in this car, it is a water proof system, and castle does not like on/off switches on their ESC's.
