Hi G-manz;

Yes, that is the plane!

The weight that I have in the tail is 95 Grams (3.3 oz). - Not too bad.
I weighed the Foam Wing - it is 1.1 Kgs (2.4 lbs) - A little heavy...
The Saito is listed at 850 Grams (1.9 lbs)
A 60-90 2S lists it's weight around 750 Grams (1.7 lbs... .2 lbs saving)

I think that this is one of those situations where a bunch of little things have just added up... the chap that built the AC used Epoxy instead of CA, plus the engine and the wing and the balast and ... the weight has added up.

The challenge for me will be to see what I can do to drop the weight (Be careful my wife may thing I'm talking about me and not the plane )

Re: Which Engine?

A really easy place to start would be to move some weight back and get that extra weight out of the tail. Lead is evil I have moved my battery pack to the tail of the plane to avoid adding lead for extra weight. The wing might be a bit of a culprit also. It seems kind of heavy.
