PUT a HP08-2S on yours with either 10 tooth or 11 if you dare, makes it into a new heli. Stock form for me was gutless. This heli needs alot of tweaking and love, especially the tail, in the end plan to spend 400+ to make it work like it should out of the box, but once thats done its not to bad of a little crapper.

The HP08 is awesome in the machine with the stock 3-1 control board.
But if you want to throw even more money at it, add in an external esc and run it governed. Awesome... there are cheaper esc's you can flash and play with as well. I just like the YGE's in all my machines.

Stock form is not gutless. Just need a better battery (almost anything is better than any E-Flite battery, I run cheap Nanotech for less than $4), make sure tail rotor is balance (that and better flange bearings or my additional bearing mod fix 99% of common tail problems people have), and make sure torque tube doesn't rub on boom inner wall (very little clearance, replace torque tube and/or boom if they rub or do the 3rd torque tube bearing boom mod like mine). No need for bling parts to make this bird fly great. I've been flying this bird with all stock parts with the additional bearing mod for its 1st 400 flights. I added 3rd torque tube bearing boom mod and hp08s way after.

This flight is running stock motor and Nanotech 25C 460mAh battery and 3rd torque tube bearing mod. Nowhere near gutless. At that point, I've spent about $400 tax in including everything, the bird, 12 Nanotech batteries, and all my crash replacement parts for 550+ flights in 2 months.

Re: Blade 130X!!! WOW Im extremely impressed!

Too much pitch in the swash mix and too much throttle made mine pirouette. I toned it down and it flies great! Even the battery lasts longer now. With the 450 65c microheli batteries on their way I hope to fly it even longer.

Re: Blade 130X!!! WOW Im extremely impressed!

I have no experience with MH batteries but I think you'll like it. Even the cheap Nanotech 25C 460mAh battery is stronger than stock and flies about 4:30 to 5:00 depends on how hard you fly, but I think the key to my Nanotech batteries working great is that I stripped them down to save weight. My 25C 460mAh weighs just 1g over stock and my 25C 370mAh is 2.4g lighter than stock and I can definitely feel more nimble from the weight reduction of the 370.

The GensAce batteries have been incredible on this machine and dirt cheap too.
Very happy with them so far

I say it's gutless as that's my opinion and I have high expectations sorry. The yge on11tooth and hp08 intrigues me.

Re: Blade 130X!!! WOW Im extremely impressed!

Except for the resonance issue and the fact that it can slow the head speed enough to cause the heli to piro out of the sky. I have one too and i am waiting for my Boca bearings to arrive to replace the crap Horizon decided to install at the factory. Other than that yeah its a great machine.

Re: Blade 130X!!! WOW Im extremely impressed!

Lol I ordered the BOCA bearing kit as well. I went with the lightening ceramic ones. They should show up soon I hope. Maybe I can have a few mods done before Sunday. Indoor flying at the aircraft museum if I can make it.

Re: Blade 130X!!! WOW Im extremely impressed!

Hmm i haven't been posted here much.. I should being a Canadian and all

The stock heli for me has been great out of the box. the only addition i have made is the metal gear.

The heli has some power but it is not a powerhouse like my X2 is. However for bashing around in the gym and outside on calm days, etc it is a lot of fun.
