Dirt Trax 2.0!
Just wanted to post a note to let people know that in Ottawa, Dirt Trax has been revived with a brand new facility!
Dirt Trax 2.0 is housed in a beautiful 38,000sq' facility and has been fully rebuilt with a brand new turf track! We race on every Wednesday night and there will likely be a big race in the winter! We've had one race so far on the new surface and it is just wicked! Classes raced are 1/10 2wd mod buggy, 1/10 4wd mod buggy, and 2wd SCT with 17.5 blinky systems. Here's the first 4wd buggy A-main with Team Great Hobbies/Team Durango driver Joe Limlaw taking home the win!

The focus in our area is 1/10 scale, so the lads figured a 6000 square foot track was big enough! It's got a lot of room and we're not even using the entire space of the turf with that layout.
Racing on turf is very different than carpet, though! Bit of a learning curve for all the locals.
