I see it is still under development.

If they got it production ready, that would be cool.

You could probably get away with making it run on glow power, thus eliminating the need for distributors and spark plugs, but end users would have to deal with the cooling issue.

So you couldn't just "drop it in" as we can with current air cooled 2S and 4S engines. I am sure plumbing up the cooling system and making it work would be a chore in itself. I am sure there are plenty of modelers that would do it anyway, regardless of the extra work involved I would love to see (hear) one of these in a model airplane

We had a P-51 for sale locally a few years ago, large enough that it had a snowmobile engine under the cowl! Would have loved to see and hear that one fly.
