I have never heard of it. besides the module you need a long 72MHZ antenna. Why not just buy a 72MHZ transmitter, there has to be lots of them in basements near you. Since everyone went to 2.4 there is lots of unused ones around. I have several, prices start at $25.00 for transmitter and receiver. look around locally.

I see Great Hobbies has it listed --------- HIT23772 ---------- for about $51. Not in stock, but available. Probably just use the same antenna as the old Eclipse 7 or similar as long as the thread size (for mounting) and the length are correct for 72 MHZ. I don't see any reference in the Hitec website for the the part # etc.... for the Tx antenna. Screen setup procedure is in the Aurora 9 manual, but again no reference to the Tx antenna.

Because of the programming and backup ability?!! etc. etc.
