HI,

I have framed up Sea Sport II, i like to know if anyone else have this float plane, its Steve Gary's design from early 80s!, this plane has 87" w/s, its T-tail and engine is mounted on a pod right above the cockpit area, it has been recommended to use with 60sz engine.

I dont know how to make pontons for this bird and how to attach them to wing?, does anyone elss here have or had this plane who could share there knowledege with me so i can finish this bird and have it ready for flights...Thnx

Was this plan ever published by a model mag? That may account for nobody ever doing one. Post pics when your done and let us know how it flys. Looks like a neat airplane.

Sea sport

This model was published in "Model Builder" mag before it's demise.
Plans are available from Bill Northrop who still operates his plans service for the 25 years of Model Builder published construction articles.
I would bet that it is a good flying design since Steve Gray designed it.

Seaplane

I suspect you need wing sponsons rather than floats. It looks like an amphi at its finest. Take a look at the Neptune 40 design and see if those style of sponsons might work
