The other Beaver Build...

Ed (MACHZ) picked this up and I will be finishing it for him. I figure since Trevor is away I figure I will pick up the slack building beavers. Most of this has ben built but there are a few areas that we are gong to upgrade and make changes to. To start with this is a KMP 1/4 scale all composite fuse / wing / and float plane. Nicely finished in green / yellow / silver trim colours. many details have been done in the molds. There will be 11 servos in total powering this plane. Hitec waterproof servos are being used in the wings and floats. Non- waterproof servos are being used in the fuse for elevators, rudder, choke and throttle. In my free time at the moment I've been working on this as \I have a GWS brushless A-10 to finish first but I'm hoping to have this done by Sept 6th. Currently there is a DLE 55 with the stock muffler but I also have an EME 60 that we may change out to. Either way this will be fitted with the EME auto start. Scale 3 blade carbon fiber 3 bladed prop and true turn scale spinner to finish this off. Hopefully im going to try and fit a Topfite 1/7 scale dummy radial engine will be built / sprayed and installed. I did this many years go for my \Sukhoi and it looked really nice. Futaba 14MZ for guidance is being used as well. Most of the items needed are already in the shop but a few odds and ends are still arriving. Now hopefully I can down load a few pics...

Re: The other Beaver Build...

Trevor... Yup... Going to have floats... Not pictured as they as still with Ed... Not much intereting happening tonight.... Tore out one of the landing gear legs to my 25% cap 231 tonight flying.... Building a tank for the beaver though... Basic Dubro 3 line... Will post pics tonight but nothing to special yet... Can wait to get the EME autostart mounted daly nex t week... By then I should have the floats in the shop and at least somewhat out together... So far the quality of the plane is pretty decent... Picked up a few more goodies for it tonight... Switches, robart somewhat scale wheels, and not sure what else is in the bag Ed handed me...
