what's the deal?

What's going on guys? It it the weather that's getting to everyone, cabin fever or are people just becoming more and more grumpy?

It seems lately that a lot of the conversations are turning into arguments. That is definitely not the atmosphere we want to have here. It turns people away whether old or potential new members...

Let's leave the bickering to the house of commons and let's get back to what we love....RC!

Thanks,
Jason

Aggree

It seems pretty hard to find a good discussion about planes and setups...

It's amazing.

I've met, flown, camped, competed with most of these guys. Based on these experiences, and with a very few exceptions, these are good people. Their online personnas are quite different... I don't get it. :

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, public forums are not the appropriate place to work out conflicts between individuals. Before launching into these tirades, please consider the public relations aspect. Consider that some enthusiastic individual may happens on this tripe while researching their interest in a a new hobby they were considering. Does it sound like a good bunch of people to spend you valuable free time with? Are these discussions representative of your typical experience at the field?

I know them all too and it just isnt the forums...something else is up and don't know what it is....maybe the upcoming Nats? Bills for the winter project are due? Spring Fever?

......I think they all need a big HUGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!.........or a cold beer and some mellow music...

PM's can really solve it..... Don't like to see the dirty laundry out for the ones who love to tear it apart. Communication, communication, communication.....but keep it private and civil.

Let's go FLYING...we got lots of season left.

Well you are welcome to come but its only 10 x 10 and cement! It's the roof of my fruit cellar.... now the yard... we could probably get a good hundred in comfortably... but bring your own wobbly pops!

It is the easiest thing in the world to write something on a Forum. It is not as easy to look somebody in the eye and say the same thing. However, those that know me are fully aware that whether on a Forum or face to face I will write/say the same thing.

That is what people find so charming about me. I am up front and honest all the time.

I say we all head out to Jason's and crash his pad for a huge blow out shindig! BYOB of course but he can handle the crowd.
