ok just got my hands on a gmp cricket this is a true helicopter from what I understand as it has no gyro
now I got the 4 chanel to work and the engine running
it came with a 5 legged trypod that has balls on the ends I think this is a trainer of some sort but I don't see any place for attachment (maybe a piece missing)

also the cabin part that holds the servos has glue joints that are drying out and comming apart what is best to use for ths repair
I was going to use liquid nails

This is a Fixed Pitch Heli, with no Gyro you can't call this a trainer Heli

You can use Zip ties to attach the training gear to landing gear.

I have on of these early age Heli, it's a shelf queen for now!

Have fun, be carefull with it...Fixed Pitch and No Gyro!

Undercarriage

I think you are referring to a rotopod, where the balled training gear shoud swivel on the bolt? Make sure you use a glue that will accept vibration and not crack easily.

Best of luck. The GMP Cricket turned more people away from R/C Helis in the 1980s than Shrek's stinky feet. It is virtually impossible to control in a hover and has very little cyclic authority for FF. Give it away or sell it as an antique.

sorry
