Unhappy Stolen models

A friend of mine has had his models stolen again, twice in 3yrs.
The models were stolen from a shop near Mt Hope so please keep an eye open for them in the Hamilton and surrounding area.
If you have any leads please contact me here asap.

The models were a Hanger 9 Spit with a Saito 91 and the muffler is completely cowled in due to the custom elbow this gentleman made.

The second one is a Super Sportster with a Saito 125. It is red with yellow starburst and there is a definate CA streak across the canopy.

The radio gear is all JR.

These are really the only ID characteristics I can give you unfortunately.

Thanks very much!!

Bill

Re: Stolen models

The last time they were stolen they got all the good ones including a giant scale Hurricane. Back than one model was found at a pawn shop but the rest were never found.
My friend can hardly sleep at night.

Re: Stolen models

Its really sad when you have nice things you worked for and have to worry about some scum bag stealing them . I hope your friend gets his models back or at least finds out who took them.

Re: Stolen models

Ask him if he's had any spectators in the last month or so hanging around when he is flying or has them outside his home loading them up , my father in law's home was broken into and it ended up being a good friends kid , go figure. Hope he gets a lead on the jerk.

Re: Stolen models

Can your friend provide any photos for us? Photos would stick in most people's heads long after they forget the description, as many people are visual. You might also post this up on RCGroups.com. Sorry for his loss. If people from each club know the stolen planes, there is less opportunity to resell them. There are only so many clubs in the GTA.

Re: Stolen models

Bastards are ones that steal your models. Dirty Rotten Bastards are ones that do it again.

I hope they nab the dirty rotten bastard(s)
