Re: gas engines

Have you checked out the engines available from Paragon RC Models - www/prcmodel.com - their 45cc unit would probably work in the Yak. I am going to use a 42cc poulan conversion in my 77" Sig Sukhoi 31 which would be a similar combination. Substantial cost saving over either the Evo or Brison - and you even get a muffler. Oh, and in all honesty, I have not tried one of these engines yet, this is just another option.

I have a Brison 2.4 in a Midwest Extra, 14lbs pulls it good. Plus Brison motors can be ordered from the factory here in Canada. Less shipping fees. Mine has been good.

So I vote Brison

OK, I just looked at the Paragon sight, thats in Canada too. The motor looks like a piston port design, good price!

Don't know anything about them, however the Yak looks good!
