I have began the construction of the main fuselage sides, as this is the first step in the manual. I also have received my scale working landing gear made by Robart. This is a nice piece, I was afraid it was going to be heavy but it is constructed of cro-moly steel tube and is very close in weight to the solid steel wire that comes with the kit.

I plan to install my Saito 150 four stroke, for power. 4 Hitec HS-5645mg servos in the control surfaces and a standard servo for the throttle.

I plan to cover the plane with Sig Koverall, I have never used this product and I am going to need some help in that area for sure!

I believe I will build this as a J-3 instead of the original plan to convert it to a PA-18 Super Cub for simplicity.

If anyone has built one of these kits and have some advice, feel free to post or pm me with any suggestions.
