Well Jack, we ended up having company over for dinner and it turned out to be a late night. I only was able to sneak an hour in tonight but most of the bottom is covered - I just have to detail around the tunnel cooling holes.

It was so nice to get back into covering - a great way to break up the build!

I'll post pictures tomorrow, but it's really looking good so far!!

Here you go Jack - Got the bottom covered, the 4 tunnel vents and 1 pipe exit detailed and the twin servo bay in the tail done.

I also got the Graphtech G2 gear installed - what a beautiful, light set of gear.


I'm heading out flying this afternoon with the Mintor220 and 42% Slick, so tonight I'll start on the sides.

Love the ORANGE!!!

Wait until you see the rest of the colours on the sides - they tie in the CF gear amazingly well!!! (another hint for Jim)

Interesting prediction Jack!!

I hope to have the fuse covered by the end of the week, so time will tell about the colour scheme!!!!

The painter wants all the parts by Mon May 28, so I've gotta get the fuse covered and all parts filled and primed and ready by then for his artistry!!!! - that's lots of work in 2 weeks!!

Once everything is out for paint, I'll get back into the wings and finish off the construction and cover wings and stabs.

If all goes well, I hope to delivery it to Jack M at the Flying Tigers IMAC on July 13th!

Just 1/2 of a cigar though It will all become much clearer this week!

I had a great day at the club today burning up the skies with the Mintor220, but caught a flu bug this afternoon and I'm hurting on the couch with the laptop in hand! Hopefully tomorrow night I'll be back in form to continue with the covering!
