Nice buggy, what plans are you using or are you just winging it ?

Away from RC my other hobbies have been atv'ing, snowmobiling ( weather pending ) and building racecars ( although business has been vey slow) , i've also become slightly addicted to www.giobikes.com and have lots of new projects to assemble and modify now.

Re: Other hobbies?

Thanks Wayne
I bought the plans off of Ebay.
Just type in Buggy Plans and they are the plans from the guy from British Columbia.
He has a couple different sets.
What kind of race cars do you build?

Re: Other hobbies?

Some very cool hobbies there. I'm jealous.

I have a music project called "monoKrome". I play now and then in the bars. Makes a little money on the side, helps fund my "not for profit" modelling hobby!

Re: Other hobbies?

After many years of just wishing I could do it, I finally got an eight inch fully computerized Celestron telescope and accessories package. Astronomy is an amazing venture. Beyond our Earth lies a vast wonderous never ending ever changing expanse. I find it truly exciting and yet humbling at the same time as to how small we really are comparatively!

I also collect Canadian Stamps and Coins. Its really not as boreing as it may seem. Every piece is a part of history and tells it's own story.

And last but not least, I started an N-Scale Model Railroad in my basement. Its a great way to express your artistic side, building true to life landscapes with lakes, mountains, cities and country side scenery, buildings, roads, etc etc. And besides that, you get to play with the trains.

I've seen a few different plans out there for sale and i thought yours looked different than the ones i've seen, i will look for those ones, as for the cars i build "microsprints" are what they are called, we have one local track, there used to be two local tracks and ever since the one shut down business is pretty much non-existant and we've sold off almost everything racing related now, here a link to the last car i designed and built for a customer of mine. Overall we built about 40 cars/karts out of our shop so the winter was always busy, plus i used to build the top wings for 90% of the field.
