So... does anyone know if this is an invitation only event, or can anyone go? Sounds awefuly official.

Was going to reply to your pm just now and saw this. This is just another IMAC contest. Not invitation only....although if it makes you feel special, we could have the CD send you a special e-mail invitation to attend!

I may still come to this also. I'm not going to rule it out but with the home being so busy lately I'm not going to say I'm going for sure either. lol

I met a guy at the field today who (I'm guessing) is in his late 40s early 50s. He started flying 5 months ago and is addicted... and good. I told him about the Chatham contest and he seemed pretty stoked about it... wife permitting. He a nice patternish looking plane that flys well. I'm afraid this old dog has broken the rules and learned a new trick!!!
