Hi Guys,

Some of you may remember that I posted some pics of Jorge Escalona's large Yellow Aircraft CF-18 last year. The pics are also on my web site.

Well, he's built another one. This time it is an AirPac CF-18 done up in the Tiger Meet paint scheme. Jorge sent me some pictures, and has given me permission to post them here.

I'll also be seeing Jorge later this summer and will be sure to get some more pics of the great looking jet.

Here's what Jorge had to say in his email to me:

Quote:
Just wanted to share some photos of my new Air Pak Hornet painted in the Canadian Tiger scheme. It has a smoke system with a functional center tank also painted with tiger stripes. Powered by the RAM special that I had on the blue CF-18. Maiden flight is planned for Monday next week at Floyd Bennet field. All works well, I will fly it at the Cold Lake airshow July 17 and 18, thanks to Jeff Daly and Jim Belliveau the designer of the Tiger plane for the Canadian Air Force.
Regards,
...jim

A very nice scheme combined with a great plane (the F18 my favorite) and the result is a success.

Truly beautiful. Looking forward to some in flight pictures.

Hey Dean, congratulations. Can you start a thread on the Kingcat to provide details, flight reports and pictures?
