Really should be out Xmas shopping but.....
.....I'd much rather chop this giant chunk of pine into a plug for a 1/4 scale Super Cub cowl! The block is made up of 5 pieces cut from a 2 x 8, glued and clamped (board cost $1 in the lumber clearance bin at Rona).

I'm think'in that this work is more satisfying than fighting the Christmas crowds. Besides, you still have three more shopping days before the big event, so what's the rush?
