Got a PM reply from HKNYC on RCG about my June 6 order. He says he has just been given strict orders from HK Int. that he must let the 30 day "official investigation period" lapse before any action can be taken. For me that 30 day period starts today.

Also received a reply from a higher-up at HK Int. to the same effect - 30 days or bust. If they have not found the package by then they will refund or replace.

So now I have an official ticket number that keeps track of the 30 days. I was told to check in every few days for progress.

My June 6 order is small, 2 NiMH batteries and two servos. Hasn`t held up my flying. But I paid for it and want satisfaction one way or the other.

The last three non-battery orders seem to have hitched a ride on a North Korean missile test - between 7 and 11 days.

So it appears the system is slowly righting itself. At least until the next disaster in that part of the world which seems to happen with regular frequency.
