I am please to announce that the Stetson Flyers club, located east of Ottawa, will be hosting the Canadian Nats in 2013. The date will be August 23-25 2013 (similar to 2012) (date pending final ratification by MAAC Ottawa zone).

The Stetson executive put in their proposal back in August, their club members have mandated it, and the Scale Aerobatics committee unanimously approved the location and commended the Stetsons for stepping forward.

In 2009 the Stetsons hosted the Canadian Nats and the event was hugely successful. It is a great location (not that it was really needed, but it has even been improved further since we were there last!) and the Stetsons are some of the most gracious hosts I have met (and the club has produced a steady stream of new IMAC pilots onto the circuit over the last few years). The location is suitable to attract pilots from a wide area (including you easterners, I know you have already said you're coming!). For people who are beyond a day's travel, please consider attending, I know it's hard and we'll never have a perfect solution but we are really looking for any ideas that would make it easier for you to attend.

By the way it is never too early to signify your interest to host a Nats in 2014 or beyond.

Just under two months to go any updates?

I checked the IMAC website and you guys have not requested your Unknowns for this contest. You should do that NOW as you will be requesting two sets.

Checked the IMC website again and noticed no info or even signup ability on the North Central Contest Schedule web page.

When will that be available?

Hi Jim, the registration form will go up this week. We were just finalizing the budget and prices. Definitely plan to come

The US NATS had to extend registration another week and a half as not many regisstered pilots.

Unlike our SA NATS they don't allow walkons. If you miss the registration your not going to get a cvhance to play in their sandbox!

Guys,

Two days of registration left and the US IMAC NATS only have 31 registered pilots.

Our NATS may exceed theirs in entrants. That would be a first!

So guys & gals when the registration opens for the CDN SA NATS lets help out the organizers and register as soon as possible so they can get a good idea of numbers.

We had 51 registered at our Nats in 2008!
