Just about finished building my Protos v2 max and what a wicked looking machine. Assembly was a breeze and the quality is amazing. Just curious who else on here purchased one?

Entire build photos can be found here.. http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=730660

Maiden was successful, this is an awesome machine. Can't wait to get some more packs threw her. I'll report back once I get a dozen flights on her.

Re: Whos got the new Msh Protos v2?

nice machine, I will have to test drive and put through its paces. you know that's the only way you would know if it'll hold up to extreme inability to manage the collective

Colin what kv motor are you using and which pinion? How does it compare to your X7 or Goblin 700 ?

I'm using the stock 20 tooth pinion with the Xnova 4530 525 xts motor, Kontronik gov set at 2150 rpm.

It's flying extremely well, could easily be replacing my gaui x7 shortly haha. As compared to the goblin it's very similar in my opinion, exact same flight times, disk loading feels identical. The Protos is easier for my to fly on the deck and try new things with, in the fact that I know this airframe is a fraction of the price of a comp airframe. There's lots of posts of crashes costing well under 200 bucks so this heli is gunna be an excellent way to advance fast

I'm planning on my second Protos 700 build already haha. With the Evoluzione upgrades though
