Hi guys. I'm looking at buying at battery cycler. Can anyone tell me if the Hangar 9 Sure Cycle Battery Cycler is a good unit for doing my RX and TX batteries for my planes. I have 600 & 700mA NICD Batteries

Do not want to comment on brands but would make a suggestion for your needs. I have 2 cycler/chargers and woud suggest that you go larger on sizes for battery cycling. The standard flight pack and transmitter bat. is good but eventually later you will wish your cycler would do large packs and the small one won't do them or takes a long time to charge. That is why I have 2 but now wish I had a larger again third one.
You will find maybe you wasted some money going small later down the road.

The triton or hobico elite are good choices as they can also become field chargers. The Hobbico comes with a wall adapter. Both will also charge lipos

Hi,
I have the hobbico elite, can't say enough good things about it.
It's already saved two planes for me finding dead cells in my flt packs.
I have one pack that's 5 year's old and still holds at 700mah. NiCads will last along time if you take care of them.
