Picked up his project today. Has webra 40 silver liner engine? Say's 6.5 on side of engine.
Not sure of make and manufacture of plane? Its a bit rough but will be fun rebuild.

Re: what is it

I'm gonna say its a Goldberg eagle 2. But theres something about the window in the back of the cabin that leaves me with some doubt. Might have been a little modification to make it more "scale' like

Re: what is it

Ya. A skyward 40.

Make sure you check the control pushrods. The original design was kinda shaky.

As far as ARF trainers go, it was one of the first when ARF's started arriving on the scene. It flew OK- sorta. But for a trainer, it wasn't a very good flier.

Re: what is it

I'd say Skyward 40 also. Have one, and it was a good flyer. Built my in 96, yes it came as a kit well before the BARF (built almost ready to fly)versions.

Most of the ones I've seen came with really crappy hinges, allowing for huge gaps between trailing edges and control surfaces.
