Jack you could always go split ailerons like Trevs Edge!

That's what I'd do... Best of both worlds and no worries of matching the servos to be bind free!!!

Re: Carden PRO Built by Lee

Well theres a blizzard outside and I got bored so thougt I'd post a few shots of some things. I got a nice box of goodies from Thunderbolt RC- A charger and two LiFe batteries (package deal) some viton and Tygon tubing and other fuel stuff. Still didn't get my covering so job is stalled until tomorrow I guess but I did cover the rudder and the colors look terrific if I say so myself! Cant wait to get it all finished and I have some beautiful graphics from Eric at B&E that are dying to be stuck on!

Re: Carden PRO Built by Lee

It's sky blue and the pics are pretty close. A nice blue darker than baby blue, but lighter than royal or navy. Covers very opaque too, unlike the orange which can show some darker grain underneath.

Re: Carden PRO Built by Lee

Got some good progress made. Finished the main covering (yeah!) and finished up the cannister mounting, the fuel tank plumbing, painted the pilot, and made the fuel tank mounts. This week is finish all the hinging and sealing of the surfaces, install the throttle and choke servo mounts, finalize the fuel system, install the rudder servos, and wait for the graphics to come in.
The last big stuff is priming and painting the fg parts. Too cold right now but should be able to finish up by middle of March. So about four and a half full months of work...good to know for the next time! LOL
