If you want a challenge then try that baby out!.I've owned a few over the years and they actually work pretty good.They sure like to suck the battery juice though.If you want a real appreciation for how good our gyros of today are then try it.There are still a ton of them of around if you look so they are not really all that collectible i wouldnt think.At least not yet.Anyhow have fun.

Nah the gyro i care less about collecting just the helis. I'm thinking of trying it out on a smaller, electric heli rather then a gasser.

Risky but your right be an interesting challange to have a new found appreciation of todays gyro's.

second one to mention it sucks to juice too, i think i may give that a test too on its own.

Time for some experimenting!
