It's pretty much packed up in the trailer for the long haul to Palm Desert, plus a few other planes just to keep me active. 😎 Gotta get a gallon of epoxy tomorrow, that'll be an ouch on the pocket book.

Well Peter, I've been busy around the house and would you believe, it's fairly cold here in Palm Desert, in the mid-40'sF in the evenings, so the garage isn't all that comfortable to play in. But, the Arrow prototype made it in great shape and is sitting on a pair of saw horses.

My first task will be getting the foam core wings glue, shaped and ready for fiberglassing. They will be covered in 8 oz cloth first, lightly sanded then a finishing layer of 2.3 oz cloth so I can get a nice smooth surface.

So, I will be posting the wing mould process once I have space to make them, but at the moment, the garage is rather full of renovation supplies

Just so you know I'm still alive and so is the build, the wing foam cores have been trued up and the left wing inner and outer cores have been glued together. I bought a sheet of 3/4" thick particle board to make a rudimentary press. I'm waiting for the 3/32" balsa sheets to arrive, was hoping for yesterday but no luck. Maybe later today as the mail arrives on Saturday's too.

Discovered a slight flaw when checking with a straight edge, so a skim of drywall compound is needed to bring the surface level. Will need to touch up the wing core saddles to match. Always good to double check, even when it looks good.
