P.M.s

Maybe, just maybe the recipients think that your P.M. is not worthy of a reply!

Often I'll go a few days to a week without checking my email. Not a good practise, I know.

I like Ed's answer LOL
Their loss buddy! don't sweat it. You could keep PM'ing them though till they reply. You never know, you may be helping them

I know some folks who take a moment while at work to check their e-mail and PMs but just do NOT have the time to respond while at work! Then when they get home from a grueling day at work, I doubt that the major priority on their minds is answering a PM....maybe attention to their Honey Do list is more important! Or the kids are screaming , the dog needs to go for a walk....or maybe they just want to sit and relax for a few moments and watch Judge Judy or something!!!!! Who knows??

Or perhaps you asked a question that there is no immediate answer to and it takes a bit of time and research to get your answer.

Or perhaps the sender had too many cups of coffee and the caffene has made them anxious.....again, who knows? There are possibly dozens of reasons why your not getting your replys as quickly as you think you should!

If its that important that you get a quick response, then send a second PM and mark it ....URGENT - IMMEDIATE REPLY NEEDED/REQUIRED! And if you still don't get an answer..... then.....well.....maybe Ed is right after all!

In what vane do you ask that, or do you ask it in vain? Perhaps they are just too confused to respond?

I've missed PMs in the past ... often when the subject is complex or I don't have an answer right away (like "are you coming to X event?" and I have a conflict or haven't spoken to the missus). Then, in the general noise of other matters (like work, family etc.), I forget to respond.

Perhaps you're being unintentionally ignored?

why?

well, now that i have had so many people answer on this topic, i was interested in trading my bipe for 2 cars, 1 electric and one nitro. anyways , turns out that the guy is looking for a trainer instead as he is getting out of the cars scene and into aircrafts. now i understand the veiws but i still say if you get the first pm respond....if ya get the first pm and sit on it for like a week, people tend to get flustered, then ya send another and another untill fibnally this topic comes up.... anyways, this is too those people that do the above, i know the people that get right back to you after they get pm'd, and i thank you for that. anyhow lets all have fun and get along , thanks guys for all the input...
