It costs less for China to ship to Canada than it does for a local shipment. That being said, most of my stuff is purchased abroad.

Think of the time saved driving to a store, gas, etc...its delivered to your door. Thats worth 16 bucks right their.

I used to be a firm believer of going to the local hobby shop , even though it was at 15 mins of drive = 30 back forth , i had more order messed up at my lhs than anywhere else i buy would cost me more in gas + time + frustration since i order online i save on taxes , shipping , time and 99.9% of the time my orders are full |
