Kevin, I know that this is an older post now, I am starting a BUSA 1/4 next week. Any hints or suggestions? I bought the kit about 6 months ago. I am hoping it is one of the newer ones that they fixed some issues.

Re: Balsa USA DR-1

Hi ,

No real hidden surprises in the build . A few things .. 1 run 2 elevator servos under the stab ....huge improvement over 1 servo and a long flexiable pushrod . 2...Engine ... I run a 26cc gaser . It's ok ... But a dle 30cc would be perfect for the plane .

Re: Balsa USA DR-1

Hi Kevin

I know you are going to slap me.. but I wanted to run electric. I like the 2 servo's that is great.

I have a PUP that I converted already and I get about a 7 min flight using some HK items that seem to work great.

I am really eager to start the build. But frankly I have never seen one up close before, only on youtube and online.

Hi Kevin

I started on mine last night and noticed the lower wing was 1/8th longer on one side? Did you encounter this also?
