Before I get blasted with negative feedback I'm going to post the details.

I bought this radio. It was to be NEW, UNSED like the ad stated.

I did receive a DX8 but it was definitely not new, it was first gen DX8, 008X PID which needs to be sent in under the DX8 recall. No plastic bag on it, no plastics on the screens, no SD card, no international power plugs and no bind plug. The radio is already registered on Spektrums site and is clearly used. I messaged the seller and explained all this. Still no response as to why it was not new like stated.

I had a few more PM's with the seller and he said to send it back but I pay freight. I assumed he meant return postage. I agreed in hopes of getting my money back before sending the radio. Well he sends me payment today expecting me to cover his original shipping costs (which were included in his sale price) and the return fee's.

I'm keeping the partially refunded payment and the USED DX8 until I receive FULL payment for the shipping charges.

The nerve of someone to sell a USED radio as new then expect me to pay his shipping charges to me and then back to him.

Tell me why the radio is not NEW and who it is registered to!!!!!! and why parts are missing.

I'm trying to handle this fairly and honestly. I'm a straight up guy and don't provide dishonest details about items I sell. Once the seller explains why I received a used radio and agree's to pay all the shipping charges (why should I have to pay a cent when I've been wronged) I'll repack the radio and ship it out (uninsured like it was sent to me unless your paying additional $$ for insurance) and post the tracking number here to show it's been sent.

Sorry for the rant but dishonest postings have to stop. Upon receiving the radio I also did not jump on posting negative feedback for the seller. I believe in working things out and hope most people are honest and decent and in the end do the right thing.

+1 for your attitude, but seller should pay also shipping back. it was not sold as stated in description. Or you manage to keep it for a discount.

I tried giving a shot to a 0 feedback seller, this what happens sometimes

I shouldn't have to pay shipping either way but he wants me to cover both. He posted a NEW radio and sold a USED one. I shouldn't incur any costs on my end.

Sounds like a clear case of fraud to me..Make you sure that you leave negative feedback.
