Aero Works

Just got my first RC Flyer mag. It's definitely one of the better publications out there.
I saw an advert for Aero works Edge 540T.
The pitcher shows a silhouette fuse and calls for a 40 to 46 eng.
No other specs were shown so I looked up their web site. The
model that's shown has a full fuse.
I get confused quite easily so I sent them an e-mail asking if it is
a full or siloette fuse and if they shipped to Canada.
The answer I got back was " I haven't seen the ad so I can't help you"
Doesn't really instill a lot of confidence in the company does it?

Has anyone had dealings with thease people?
Thanks
Mel

Aeroworks makes an 80" profile Extra300s (I am guessing this is what you mean by silhouette). A 40 to 50 cc gas engine would be about right for it. I know it also is being flown with 1.8 to 2.1 glow engines. They also make a .40 size Edge as well as a .60 sized one but it has a full fuse. They say they ship international orders so I assume Canada would count. I'd be careful though as their primary ground shipping is via UPS and there is may be the dreaded brokerage fee to contend with. I would specify another carrier if possible. I have heard that they are great to deal with and offer top quality products. No experience personally though.

Aeroworks

Thanks Colin, yes profile is what I meant.
The price is certainly right at $180. US.
Think I'll give them a try.

This winter I bought the Aero works Edge 540 t 60/90. These guys were great to deal with and they delivered what they promised. The plane is a beauty and if you've put a few ARF's togeather you'll have no trouble with this one...Mike
