I wonder if fitting the spray nozzles with a fine mesh screen would help, should help introduce air into the mix better.

How about the white powder that they use in fire extinguishers? It doesn't pack and might be fine enough to work in the same nozzles as the water. Just a thought!

I've decided to repost this combo for sale.

If it doesn't sell, no big deal, but since it is mint, and now that the spray bars are installed (but needs tweaking), it's a good time to pass it onto an owner.

Hi Trevor,

Can you tell me if the Air Tractor need any king of renforcement around the landing gear area?

Did you add something on your machine?

Thanks for your help.

Yes.. the gear is 2-pieces so max bending moment is in the center of the LG plate... I added an I beam on top of the plate. In addition I put in a pair of I beams that run fore/aft at the sides of the fuse over top the the plate to prevent the gear from folding back.

Cheers

Hello Tbrum.
I am also building a Air Tractor, the one from Hollis Calvert.
I have one question for you, where to you buy the AEROBOND EXPRESS wood glue.
So far I used Gorilla glue, but I found it difficult to sand.
thank you for your help.

Hey Gerard!! Congrats on the build!!

The Aerobond Express is only available at Vogelsang Aeroscale in the US. However a great alternative is Lepage's Express and works nearly the same as Aerobond and sands awesome!!

Lepage's Express is available at Home Depot.

Please post some pictures if you get a chance!!

Thanks for the info.
I should receive the short kit, as well as the others parts this week.
I like the way you trim everything to save weight.
