I got all my servos today

I seriously debated about the servo package for this plane...

* Go all out and do HV, BLS, SBUS servos so that I could use that package in future GS Planes
.
.
OR
.
.
* Get a decent, cheaper servo package that will run this plane and that I could someday sell with the airframe as a combo.....

Re: AMR 22% AirTractor / MOKI-150.... BBT

Sooooo... I decided to go with the later - a decent, less expensive servo package that I'll run on A123 and a 14ch non-SBUS Rx. I also have (3) spare JR servos that I can use

I also wanted to stay away from those twitching, 7995 / 7950's!!!!

Throttle - Hitec 5985
Choke - Hitec 5985
Ailerons - (2) Hitec 5985
Elevators - (2) Hitec 5985
Flaps - (2) JR 8911HV
Rudder - JR 8711

Now where in the heck did you get your hands on all those 5985's. Those are good servos, I used them in my Python. Been trouble free for three years now.

No kidding...he's gone old school, you never hear anyone complaining about the 59xx series...

My 7955's after only 1 season are just terrible...infact I'm retrofitting my entire 35%er as we speak with Savox 1268's....

Darn 7955's have turned into $1000 paper weights

Eric

Yep!!! - It was the 5945 /5985 / 5955 series that got me hooked on Hitec a few years ago! Their resolution isn't the best, but I've had likely 50+ of these servos and never a problem!! Coupled with the Ti Gears, they were incredible value!!!!

I got these (6) 5985's off of RCC a few days ago!! - all BNIB, so I just couldn't resist!!

Re: AMR 22% AirTractor / MOKI-150.... BBT

I've changed direction on the tires for this plane

I forgot that I've still got these inflatable 6" KAVAN wheels sitting around from my 58% Pitts, so I've decided to use them!!
.
.
.
HUGE weight savings ---- 12.9oz savings over the stock Dubros and they look better IMO!!

Cumulative Weight Savings on the fuse = 57.7oz

Funny! I haven't had any problems with my 7955s.

Eric what date is on the little round sticker on the the servo?

So I'm guesssing you have some SWB arms for Hitec servos just laying around............?
