hey,
so i'm tempted to get a xcelorin 13.5t set up by Losi since by xl5 set up broke. i'm just using 7 cell's with regular pinion and spur gear setup and i'm wondering if you guys know if going to xcelorin will make a big difference. i will go to lipos eventually but i need a charger and i'm not ready to spend that money unless i find a good priced used charger. so question at hand is really whats difference will there be going from a xl5/titan 550 to a xcelorin 13.5t brushless setup.

I typically drive around the yard/street and gravel pits and recently skate parks when there are no skaters lol.

you are going to notice a big difference going from brushed to brushless no matter what system, power and run times will increase drastically. Are you getting a deal on the Losi system? You might be better off with the sidewinder system with the 3800 4-pole, I got mine for $120 and I would say it's one of the best bangs for your $$$. I've used it in a SC10 and a hyper 10SC and it has worked great.
